NEW CONSTRUCTION

This is a subtitle for your new post
Are there special considerations when moving into new construction homes?
The biggest concern in our area is the possibility of mud, especially in the rainy season. If you have a lot of mud or if there are certain items that will need to go around the house and possibly through mud, you need to plan accordingly.
Not only will the movers be walking through the mud but that mud will be tracked on your flooring. IF you have carpet, this will be a big problem.
Things you can do ahead of time would be to apply carpet mask, lay down luan or similar durable temporary coverings. Reconsider your move date if it is raining as that will only make the matter worse.
Further, if a safe or something heavy needs to be taken around the back of the house and through the mud, the ground may not support doing that safely. In this instance, you may need to place down plywood so that the movers can cross the area safely.
The movers can provide the above mentioned items, but they will need to be prepared to do so and there will be a cost associated with the services.

WHAT HAPPENS TO THE SCREWS FROM MY FURNITURE? Many times beds and other furniture items are assembled with screws or other hardware. We recommend that you have some sealable baggies available to put them in and label them per item (kind bed, queen bed, Mary's bed, Tommy's dresser mirror screws) and so forth.

DO YOU MOVE SAFES? I get this question a lot. And yes, we do. But we need to know a lot more about the safe than, "it's heavy"!! Make/brand Model Height Weight Depth Stairs at load address? Stairs at unload address? Going over grass at either address? Will it be empty? Does the door come off? Basically I need to know everything about it so that I can plan and have proper resources.
